Learn Boxing
Thursday, June 21st, 2007I was about 10 years old when I decided to learn boxing. To say that my parents were surprised would be the understatement of the year! They had both been trying to encourage me to get more exercise for the last couple years, but I had had no interest in it. I was a bookish kid, and I preferred to stay indoors and read rather than going outside and playing with my friends. I had friends, but they were like me. We were all intellectual, shy, and not physically active. My parents couldn't for the life of them figure out why I wanted to learn to box.
What is Shadow Boxing?
Wednesday, June 20th, 2007Shadow boxing is the practice of punching on an imaginary foe, though the exercise might or might not include an imaginary foe as a requisite. The practice has no sets of condition, as long as any martial artist, boxers or of another martial art, practices moves without a target is called shadow boxing.
In the field of boxing, most trainers include shadow boxing in the training, since from what it does, allows the boxer to maintain his form. And because shadow boxing can be impressive to watch, many boxers have come up on dazzling displays of shadow boxing, displaying a set of actual combinations or just a flurry of punches displaying punch speed.
Online Betting Boxing
Wednesday, June 20th, 2007When boxing was first considered as a sport in the ancient Greek civilization, the idea was not only to showcase a grand spectacle wherein gladiators with their clinched fists as their only weapon attack their opponent with the aim to pin him down or worst make him face his death. Even during those times betting on gladiators or boxers was already prevalent. Each opposing team would put their best man, lest the other camp will win the stakes.

It gives a feeling of satisfaction and self-realization. Having something like a memento would definitely reaffirm that we are indeed a successful person inside out.

Kick Boxing And Its Benefits
Wednesday, June 20th, 2007Kick boxing is a whole new level of martial arts. It involves not only the hands, but the legs as well. The many styles of leg kicks are as powerful as they get. The leg muscles are stronger than the arms, thus one can expect more power behind the leg kicks. If these should make their way to your opponent’s body and especially to the face, expect your nemesis to retreat, fall or be knocked out.
